摘　　要：机械密封轴向装配尺寸设计不合理,导致动静环间端面比压过大,机械密封时常泄露,运行周期达不到要求。为了提高该泵机械密封的使用寿命,降低检修成本,从生产实际出发,对机械密封失效的原因进行了详细分析,并提出了具体的改造措施。P-301A pump is a vertical centrifugal pump located in the spherical tank plant of the ethylene manufacturer with two stage tandem type mechanical seal. Because the axial fit dimension of the mechanical seal is designed unreasonable for the pump, the pressure of the face between the dynamic and static ring exceed, the leakage always happen. It can not meet the needs of service circle. In order to improve the service life of the mechanical sealing and reduce the maintenance cost, accord- ing to the actual production, the reason for the mechanical seal failure is analyzed and the concrete improvement methods are proposed in detail.
