摘　　要：随着多媒体技术的发展,传统的数据库技术无法对多媒体数据进行有效的管理,而成熟的面向对象的数据库模型则能提高多媒体系统的性能。所以针对面向对象技术在多媒体数据库中的应用,讨论基于面向对象的多媒体数据库系统的实现,具有很强的现实意义。With the development of the multimedia, traditional technology of database can not manage such multimedia data effectively, but the object oriented database model was developed to increase the performance of multimedia system. This paper researches the application of object-oriented technology in multimedia database developing, focused on the realization of multimedia database by the object-oriented technology.
