长链烷基咪唑类离子液晶的合成及其液晶性

摘  要:以1-甲基咪唑,四氟硼酸铵,六氟磷酸钾,溴代十四烷及溴代十六烷为主要原料,合成了6个长链烷基咪唑盐类离子型化合物。以元素分析、IR及1 H-NMR对化合物结构进行了表征。通过DSC和偏光显微镜研究了化合物的液晶相。结果表明,6个离子型有机化合物均具有热致液晶性,呈现液晶相扇形织构。在加热过程中,其液晶区间为34~144℃,冷却过程中为47~151℃。对于阴离子相同的离子液晶化合物,烷基链较长时液晶区间更宽。进一步研究发现,这些离子液晶相互混合后其熔点降低,且仍可以体现出热致液晶性及扇形织构;当阴离子为溴离子型的化合物相互混合后,混合物的液晶区间比组成它的纯净物更宽。Taking 1-methylimidazole, ammonium tetrafluoroborate, potassium hexafluorophosphate as main materi als, 6 ionic imidazole salts with long alkyl chains were synthesized. Their structures were confirmed by elemental analysis, IR and 1HNMR. Their melting and clearing points were determined by DSC and The POM (Polarizing optical microscopic) measurement also found fan-like textures in the 6 compounds. The results showed these ionic compounds with long alkyl chain had the property of thermotropic liquid crystal. Their temperature ranges of mesomorphous phase were from 34 to 144℃ during heating process and from 47 to 151℃ during cooling process. Among these compounds,molecules of the same anionic structures with longer alkyl chain had wider temperature range of mesomorphous phase. The results also showed that the liquid crystalline fan-like textures were still remained after these compounds have been mixed with each other. And mixture made by ionic compounds of hromo anion had wider temperature range of mesomorphous phase than the purities it had made from.
