摘　　要：英国抒情诗人托马斯·格雷是西方凯尔特复兴运动中的标志性人物,他的名诗《巴德》翔实地描述了威尔士最后一个巴德在民族危亡之际所留下的文化印记。该诗不仅凸显了巴德作为文化传承者和先知的重要角色,还利用凯尔特诗歌独有的韵律和特殊的印刷版式最大限度地模仿了古凯尔特口传文化表演的现场感和即时性。English lyric poet Thomas Gray is an important figure in the Western Celtic Revival Movement. His masterpiece The Bard vividly portrays how the last Welsh bard left traces of culture when his nation was in the danger of extinction. The poem not only highlights the bard＇ s roles as a cultural passer - on and prophet, but also imitates to the utmost the embodiment and imme- diacy of the traditional Celtic oral performance with Celtic prosodic techniques and special typography.
