“女”字文化内涵探析

摘　　要：象形字"女"字产生于母系氏族社会时期,表达了先民对于女性的朴素审美,是对女性形体的客观描摹。语言的创造和使用反映了特定时期的思维和文化情况。在对"女"字构形中存在的文化内涵考察时发现,在造字之初并没有歧视女性的观念存在。认为"女"字反映了造字之初对女性的歧视是后人的主观臆断,缺乏考古凭证,更是父权思想的体现。The pictographic character ＂nv＂ （woman） was produced during the period of matriarchal society, expressing the simplest aesthetic feelings of ancestors and it is an objective description of female body. When inspecting the structure of the Chinese character ＂nv＂ and its cultural connotations,it is found that women played a very important role in the social living at that time they created characters. The character ＂nv＂ dose not mean discrimination against women at the beginning and it is only a subjective judgment for women. The idea of the word means discrimination against women is an absurd supposition of later generations.
