摘　　要：芜湖古城模范监狱是近代的新式监狱建筑,具有极其重要的研究价值和旅游开发前景.但由于几十年来的产权转换以及疏于管理,从而导致了模范监狱破败不堪.为此,在以古城改造为背景的前提下,笔者对模范监狱的旅游开发目标、建筑本体进行了重新的定位和设计,进而提出了一些意见和想法.Wuhu old town model prison is modern new prison buildings, which have very important research val- ues and tourism development prospects. However, during the last decades, because of the property conversion problems and management problems, model prison was in shreds and patches. In our report, based on the back- ground of the ancient city reconstruction, some suggestions about the tourism development objective of model prison, architecture protection and designs were put forward.
