摘　　要：美国当代著名作家欧茨的小说《浮生如梦》是一个典型的美国梦文本。它以好莱坞影星玛丽莲.梦露为原型,叙述了一位美国女演员的电影之梦、爱情之梦、家庭之梦、为人母之梦,塑造了一个在媒介、男权、政治、命运裹挟中挣扎、成功、最终香消玉殒的女性形象。这部小说对美国梦的本质、可能性和荒诞性的深刻剖析将有助于我们深化对美国社会和文化的认识。Blonde, written by famous contemporary American writer Joyce Carol Oates, is a typical novel about American Dream. Based on Hollywood movie star Marilyn Monroe＇s life story, the novel narrates an American actress＇ dreams of becoming a Hollywood movie star, finding true love, establishing a family and becoming a mother, and portrays an image of a woman who struggles, succeeds and dies due to outside forces such as media, patriarchy, politics and fate. This novel＇s profound representation of the nature, possibility and absurdity of American Dream will help to deepen our understanding of American society and culture.
