摘　　要：根据科学技术名词审定原则及方法的要求,针对科技名词定义中存在的一些现象,分析了科技名词定义方法、规则及其运用,以《测绘学名词》(第3版)的定义为例,讨论了个别定义存在的问题和处理意见。Based on the principle and method for examining and approving scientific terms, we analyzed some problems in the methods, rules and applications of term definition. We also took Surveying and Mapping Terms （3rd edition） as an example to discuss some related problems.
