摘　　要：以原有城乡结合部为研究对象,通过对其调研、对比、解释、论证来阐述城乡结合部的重要作用,提出在城市扩张过程中应保护原有城乡结合部的历史职能,从空间形态、人居环境、功能辐射、比例尺度、生活方式、天际线、犯罪率等方面提出了我国在未来城乡结合部发展中,如何面对挑战与困难,提高认知水平与决策能力.Taking the original urban-rural fringe zone as research object, this paper expounds its significance through investigation, comparison, analysis, and argumentation. And then the paper proposes that in the city expansion process the original historic function of urban-rural fringe zones should be protected. Finally the paper discusses how to confront the challenges and difficulties, and how to improve the cognitive level and decision-making ability in the future development of urban-rural fringe zones in China in the aspects of spatial form, living environment, function radiation, ratio scale, life style, skyline, crime ratios, etc.
