摘　　要：发展民主政治是社会主义和谐社会的本质要求和政治保障,建设和谐社会可以促进民主政治的发展。构建和谐社会必须加强党对民主政治建设的正确领导,贯彻依法治国基本方略,推进社会主义民主的制度化、规范化和程序化,加强对权力运行的制约和监督,疏通民主政治参与渠道,不断培育和扩大基层民主。The development of democratic politics is the essential demand for the harmonious socialist society and political guarantee for building a harmonious society, favorable conditions for the development of democracy. To and the construction of democratic politics also provides construct a harmonious society, we must strengthen the Party＇ s correct leadership of democratic political construction, implement the basic strategy of governing the country by law, promote the institutionalization, standardization and routinization of socialist democracy, strengthen the restriction and supervision of power, dredge the democratic political participation channels and continuously nurture and expand democracy at the grassroots level.
