摘　　要：主要介绍了通系5的主要性状与选育过程以及通系5种质的改良创新利用情况。通系5是采用分离小群体法选育的糯质玉米自交系,该自交系具有品质好、配合力高、抗病、抗倒等综合性状好和适应性广等特点。通系5及其衍生系组配的糯玉米系列杂交种已大面积应用于生产,取得了良好的经济效益和社会效益。Tongxi 5 is a waxy corn inbred line bred using the small group method. This inbred line has high combination a-bility, good comprehensive character, resistant to diseases and lodging, wide adaptation, etc. The main characters and breed-ing process of this variety were first introduced. And the features of the waxy corn hybrid rarities mated with Tongxi 5 and its derived lines were also introduced. These varieties had been widely applied in the production and good economic and so-cial benefits had been achieved.
