摘  要:模块化多电平换流器(modular multilevel converter,MMC)型直流输电采用模块化结构,是新一代直流输电技术,发展非常迅速。将MMC-HVDC和传统直流、VSC-HVDC进行了比较,说明了其优越的性能;对MMC从拓扑结构、工作原理作了全面分析并重点研究了MMC的技术特点和关键技术,对比分析了不同控制策略的优势与不足以及分别的适用场合;通过介绍MMC-HVDC的国内外研究现状及工程应用,表明模块化多电平换流器型直流输电应用前景广泛,是未来直流输电的一个重要发展方向。HVDC transmission with modular multilevel converter (MMC), a new generation of dc transmission technology, has been rapidly growing. This paper, firstly, compares the MMC- HVDC with the traditional HVDC and VSC-HVDC to demonstrate the superior performance of the MMC-HVDC, Secondly, a comprehensive analysis is made in the aspects of topology structure and working principle with a focus on the technical characteristics and key technology of the MMC. Comparisons and analyses are made on the different control strategies, the advantages, and the disadvantages, and the specific applicable occasions. In addition, the paper reviews recent research and the engineering applications of the MMC-HVDC at home and abroad, concluding that the MMC-HVDC has a wide prospect of applications and it is an important developing direction of HVDC in the future.
