摘　　要：本文通过对我国大学英语教学发展的历史和现状的分析,提出了我国当今外语教学中存在的文化教学的不足,并从教学实践出发,研究和探讨了中西文化的差异,指出了在大学英语教学中英美文化导入的必要性。This paper shows the reader the problems existing in college English teaching by analyzing the history and present condition of the development of college English teaching in our country.Besides,it probes the differences in culture between China and Western countries.Finally,it points out the necessity of the introduction of Western culture in college English teaching.
