摘　　要：现时代,提高区域竞争力已成为区域经济发展中的重要内容。本文从资源环境、经济实力、产业市场、对外开放、基础设施、人力资本、科技创新和管理服务等8个方面采用基于主成分分析和层次分析法的组合评价法对新疆区域竞争力状况进行研究。结果表明,新疆区域竞争力空间差异性较明显,北疆地区最强,东疆地区次之,南疆地区最弱;另外,多元回归分析表明,经济实力对区域竞争力的贡献最大。Based on defining regional competitiveness, this paper constructs the regional competitiveness evaluation index system including 40 secondary indicators from eight respects which are resources and environment, economic strength, industrial market, opening to the outside world, infrastructure, manpower capital, science and technology, management and social service. And then, it adopts the combination evaluation of two methods： Principle Component Analysis （PCA） and Analytic Hierarehy Process （ AHP）, to study Xinjiang＇ s regional competitiveness. By calculating the regional competitiveness combination index of 15 prefectures and regions in Xinjiang, it analyses the difference of the regional competitiveness in Xinjiang and draws some conclusions finally.
