摘　　要：山西处于草原与农耕文化的汇合处,而晋阳则位于山西的中心区域。古城晋阳孕育了博大精深的晋阳文明。晋阳文明是以晋阳大地为载体,由中原华夏民族和北方游牧民族在长期的生产实践中,艰苦奋斗,开拓创新,融中原农耕文明和北方草原文明为一体的地域文明。晋阳的文明史是山西区域文明的主要内容。晋阳地处汉族与少数民族接合地带,其文化具有多种独特的文明特点,既具备了中华优秀传统文化的普遍性,又具有山西地域文明的特殊性,是中华优秀传统文化的重要组成部分,也是山西文明的主体和主流。它对中华民族的形成和发展,产生了重大影响。Shanxi Province is in the grassland and farming culture confluence.
