摘　　要：随着中国金融业改革发展步伐的不断加快,城市商业银行所处的市场结构、竞争格局和经营环境已发生了前所未有的变化。面对外部日益激烈的同业竞争和内部推进经营转型的迫切需求,发展投资银行业务成为城市商业银行的必然选择。本文全面论述了城市商业银行发展投资银行业务的重大现实意义,从优势、劣势、机遇和威胁四个方面进行了深入细致的剖析,并有针对性的提出了城市商业银行发展投资银行业务的策略建议。With the accelerating pace of Chinese financial industry reform and development, the market structure, competitive landscape and business environment of city commercial banks have changed. Faced with the increasingly fierce external competition and internal urgent needs of business restructuring, developing of investment banking has become the inevitable choice of city commercial banks. This paper discussed the great practical significance of the development of investment banking for city commercial banks, in-depth and detailed conducted analysis from the aspects of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats ,finally put forward strategy recommendations of the develooment of investment banking for city commercial hanks
