大运河与明清通俗小说刊刻中心的转移

摘　　要：明清通俗小说刊刻中心经历了一个由福建建阳向苏州、杭州、扬州、常州、湖州等江南运河城市转移的过程。建阳书坊业带动了明清通俗小说的初步繁荣,江南运河城市的书坊业却促成了通俗小说的全面繁荣。大运河在通俗小说刊刻中心的转移过程起到了举足轻重的作用,大运河为江南运河城市的书坊业与通俗小说的发展提供了繁荣的商品经济、壮大的市民阶层、便利的水陆运输与广阔的市场等得天独厚的条件,保证了这些城市的书坊业在市场竞争中能立于不败之地。The print center of the Ming and Qing Ddynasties popular novels experienced a transferring process from Jianyang of Fujian province to Jiangnan canal cities including Suzhou,Hangzhou,Yangzhou,Changzhou,Huzhou and so on.The books industry of Jianyang promoted the initial prosperity of popular novels of the Ming and Qing Dynasties,while the ones of Jiangnan canal cities promoted the overall prosperity of popular novels.The Grand Canal played a pivotal role in the transferring process of the print center of the Ming and Qing Dynasties popular novels.The Grand Canal provided prosperous commodity economy,expansion of the citizen stratum,convenient water transport and vast market advantageous condition for developing books industry and popular novels of Jiangnan canal cities,and ensured the indefectible position in the market competition.
