摘　　要：马克思现代性思想的当代价值在于,马克思的问题意识、研究方法和理论观点能够指导和启示中国特色社会主义的发展实践。在中国现实境遇中把握马克思现代性思想的当代价值,就必须深刻把握中国现代性建构的"特殊性",创造性地转化马克思的思想资源,自觉回应"反现代化论"与"西化论"等当代流行思潮的挑战,合理阐明中国特色社会主义现代性的正确发展方向。Exploring and activating Marx＇s idea of modernity is the practical demand of the Chi- nese social development and objective requirement of developing socialism characteristic of the Chinese style. The contemporary value of Marx＇s idea of modernity lies in the fact that its problem awareness, research methodology and theory may guide and inspire the development of socialism characteristic of the Chinese style. To grasp the contemporary value of Marx＇s idea of modernity in the Chinese context we should grasp the ＂particularity＂ of China＇s modern construction, crea- tively transform Marx＇s ideological resources, and respond to challenges from contemporary popu-lar thoughts like ＂anti-modernity＂ and ＂westernization＂, and reasonably clarify the right develop- ment destination of socialist modernity characteristic of the Chinese style.
