摘　　要：文化如水,它滋润万物,悄然无声;它看似柔弱,实则强大。作为重要的文化传承和服务机构,图书馆在功能、特性和服务方式上也呈现着文化的"水"性特质,发挥着自身的重要作用,体现着文化的本质和活力。Culture is just like water, it nourishes everything on earth. It looks like effeminacy but mightiness in fact. As an important culture inheri- ted and service institution, library presents its＂watery＂ properties in its function, characteristic and service mode, exerts its effects, shows the culture＇s essence and vigor.
