摘　　要：图书馆建筑设计理念是一个建筑的灵魂,它决定建筑的空间结构及功能的发挥。目前,全国各级各类图书馆正在兴起新馆建设高潮,有的已经建成,有的正在建设,更多的正在筹建。本文以湖北省图书馆新馆建筑具体实践为案例,将湖北省图书馆新馆建筑设计理念、设计要求及特点作一评述。The library building design concept is the soul of a building, it determines the structure and function of architectural space to play. At pres- ent, all levels across all types of libraries are the rise of the new libraries building boom, some have been completed, some are under construction. More are under preparation. Taking new building of Hubei Library as an example, this paper introduces and researches the design concept of new building of Hubei Library, the design requirements and characteristics.
