Comparison of the Growth and Biomass Production of Monoculture and Mixed Stands of Larix gmelinii and Betula platyphylla

摘  要:采用标准地调查法研究了大兴安岭加格达奇林业局落叶松、白桦纯林和混交林生长、生物量指标。研究结果表明:落叶松、白桦人工天然混交林较落叶松人工纯林和白桦天然纯林具有较大幅度的增产效益。混交林中落叶松、白桦生长表现均优于各自纯林,平均树高分别高出15.1%和20.5%,平均胸径分别高出8.0%和2.3%,平均单株材积分别增加11.5%和15.8%,林分总蓄积量分别增加14.7%和12.3%。混交林中乔木层生物量、干材生物量和枝叶生物量均显著高于落叶松纯林和白桦纯林,全林生物量也较落叶松纯林和白桦纯林有较大幅度的增加。A survey was conducted to study the growth and biomass production of monoculture and mixed stands of Larix gmelinii and Betu:la platyphylla in Jiagedaqi Forestry Bureau. An obvious increase in stand volume production was found in the mixed stand with planted L. gmelinii and naturally originated B. platyphylla compared with the monoculture stands. Better growth performances of L. gmelinii and B. platyphylla were observed in the mixed stand, with increases of 15.1% , 8.0% and ll. 5% in average tree height, diameter at breast height and stem volume for L. gmelinii, and 20.5%, 2.3% and 15.8% for B. platyphylla, respectively. The total stand volume of the mixed stand was 14.7% and 12.3% higher than that of L. gmelinii and B. platyphylla monocuhure stands, respectively. The biomass values of the whole stand, canopy trees, trunk, branch and foliage in the mixed stand were significantly higher than those in the monoculture stands.
