摘　　要：河南省作为我国的经济大省和人口大省,自20世纪末到新世纪初高等教育取得了长足的发展,无论是高等学校的数量还是人才培养的数量和质量都取得了重大突破,高层次人才培养的能力也得到很大提升。探讨和研究河南省在中原经济区建设过程中高等教育发展的制约因素和发展战略选择,有助于更好地为河南省高等教育发展提供政策建议,以便更好地为中原经济区发展服务。As the big economic and large population province, it is showing great progress for the Henan higher education development in the number of colleges, the quantity and quality of talent cultivation and high level personnel training ability since 1990. The paper researches the strategy and restrictive factors on He＇nan higher education development in the view of ＂Central Plains Economic Region＂ plan in order to give some suggestions for He＇nan higher education development.
