摘　　要：Lotus Notes R5是目前办公自动化系统的主流开发平台之一,有完美的电子邮件系统、易于实现的工作流、极强的安全措施,具有强大的非关系型数据处理能力,但它在关系型数据处理方面能力较弱,需要与传统的关系型数据库进行互操作。本文先从几个方面对非关系型数据库与关系型数据库进行了比较,指出各自优缺点,然后给出了Lotus Notes与关系型数据库信息转换的几种方法,并用Lotus Script语言实现了一个从SQL Server数据库信息到Notes数据库转换的实例。Lotus Notes is one of the most popular platforms on developing office automation system. It has excellent E - mail, facile workflow, super safety precautions and powerful ability of processing none - relation data. But its weakly ability of processing relation data causes needs of data exchange between Lotus Notes and DBMS. This article compares some aspects between them at first, points out it' s advantages and disadvantages, and provides some means of data exchange. At last,this article gives an instance of data exchange.
