摘　　要：通过引入ＣＢＩＲ的概念，实现了支持多媒体数据库引擎ｅＢａｓｅ３。ｅＢａｓｅ３采用了开放性的框架，具有良好的媒体独立性和特征扩充性。特别地，ｅＢａｓｅ３的基于ＳＯＭ和统计检验的索引算法使ｅＢａｓｅ３的查询更准确快速。Though inttoducing the concept of CBIR, we implement the database engine eBase3, which supports the multimedia. eBase3 adopts the open structure, has good media independence and feature expanding ability. Especially, the SOM and statistic examining based index of eBase3 makes its seeking more exactly and speedily.
