摘 要:本文描述寄生虎纹伯劳Laniustigrinus的一种疟原虫,该虫有性体、裂殖体都很小,而且成熟裂殖体几乎观察不到细胞质,所以将该疟原虫归为诺维亚属Novyella,命名为伯劳疟原虫Plasmodium(Novyella)lanius sp.nov.Plasmodium lanius n. sp. naturally infects the Lanius tigrinus in Yunnan Province of the southwest China. Schizonts are small and mature schizonts contained 4-6 merozoites which is oval in shape and merozoite measured averaging 0. 4 um × 0. 5 um. The female and male gametocyte both are oval or elongate. The microgametocytes measured averaging 3.5 um × 6.2 um. The Macrogametocytes were usually large in size, averaging 3.0 um × 5.8 um in size. A malaria parasite possessed oval or elongate gametocytes, and schizonts and merozoites with little cytoplasm, these features conformed to the main characteristics of subgenus Novyella (Corradetii et al. , 1963 ). A morphological comparison of this species was made with other species of NovyeUa, and major differences described.
