摘　　要：本文介绍了汉英对应评价意义语料库的研制过程,具体包括评价语料库的研制背景、总体设计思路和研制过程、语料检索、相关术语解释和UAM CorpusTool的基本原理及应用前景;重点放到语料检索上。该语料库的建成具有重要意义,它将有力推进评价系统的相关理论、描写对比和应用研究,加深人们对评价系统各范畴的进一步认识,并对基于语料库的系统功能语言学研究产生积极影响。This report is concerned with the design and the retrieval system oi a new corpus nameo Chinese-Engnsn Parallel Corpus of Appraisal Meanings. In particular, it introduces （i） the research background, （ii） the general plan and the designing process, （iii） data retrieval system, （iv） the relevant key terms and further understanding of UAM Corpus Tool, and （v） the application potentials. The accomplishment of this corpus has a great significance ： it will help advance the relevant studies in Appraisal Theory, understand better the Appraisal systems such as the distributions of appraisal elements in different genres, and enlighten corpus studies concerning other categories in Systemic Functional Linguistics.
