摘　　要：文章介绍了美国陆军档案信息管理系统(ARIMS)的用途与功能,探讨了该系统建设中所遵循的实用性、开放性和安全性原则,分析了该系统基于Web设计、操作灵活便捷及用户分级管理的特点,最后归纳了对我国档案信息管理系统建设具有借鉴与启示意义的若干建议。This paper firstly introduces the purpose and function of U.S Army Record Information Management System （ARIMS）, then describes the practicability, publicity and safety principle of the system during its construction and analyzes the system＇s character, such as designing based on Web, operating conveniently and managing by user classification method. At last, the author summarizes some advice on our country＇s record information management system construction.
