摘　　要：对武汉市系列比例尺地形图要素分类编码及数据库标准的编制方法进行了探讨和研究,对数学基础、分幅规则、要素选取、要素分类编码规则设计、数据库结构设计、元数据结构设计等关键问题进行了阐述。同时,在标准的制定过程中对规范基础地理信息标准数据的生产过程以及综合考虑制图和数据建库进行了探讨,总结了在标准编制过程中应用的关键技术。This article researches the element classification coding and database standard for Wuhan series scale top- ographic maps, focus on the foundations of mathematics, framing of rules, the elements selected, feature classification and coding rules design, database structure design, metadata structure design and other key issues. Simultaneously, this article discusses on how to regulate the production process of the basic geographic information standard data, and how to compre- hensively consider of the cartographic and database construction. And finally, this article summarizes the application of key technologies in the standard preparation process.
