摘　　要：对于拥有重大历史题材的作品来说,只有正视历史,熟悉历史,才能准确把握其精神意旨。文章采用历史还原批评的方法来解读《九三年》的历史环境,借以阐明作家人道主义思想观点的现实依托及其合理内核。In order to understand accurately the theme and implication of historical literary works,the text interpreter must have an intimate knowledge of history and face the history as it is.In this paper,the author,by adopting a critical approach that restores the historical environment,interprets the historical environment that Victor Hugo＇s novel Ninety-Three involves so as to expound the reality the writer＇s humanitarianism depends on and the core values the writer＇s humanitarianism embodies.
