摘　　要：亚太大学联盟(Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific-AUAP)于1995年7月28日在泰国苏兰拉里理工大学(Suranaree University of technology)成立。来自17个国家和地区的48名大学校长、副校长参加了成立大会。在过去十六年中,亚太大学联盟发展迅速,截至2011年4月,其正式会员学校增加到216所。亚太大学联盟为促进本地区高等教育国际化进程起到了积极的推动作用。The Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific （AUAP） was formally established on 28 July 1995 at Suranaree University of Technology （SUT）, Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand. There were 48 Uni- versity Presidents, Vice Chancellors and Rectors from 17 Countries and regions participating in the founding ceremony. In the past 16 years, AUAP developed quickly. Its member universities increased to 216 by April 2011. AUAP has contributed a lot to the internationalization of higher education in the region.
