摘　　要：从政治生态学的角度看 ,新中国成立以来生态环境问题在社会政治生活中所起的作用和地位的变化可以划分为 1 949～ 1 972年、 1 973～1 983年、 1 984～ 1 992年、 1 993年以来共四个阶段。当前 ,中国生态环境在社会经济发展中的制约作用在更深层次上被广泛认同 ,中国开始把生态环境问题有机地融合到国家政治、经济生活中 ,开始谋求可持续发展。但是 ,社会运作的机制尚没有对生态环境的保护形成有力的保障 。From the point of view of political ecology, eco-environmental influences on political affairs in China's Mainland during the last 50 years can be seen in the periods of 1949-1972, 1973-1983, 1984-1992, and 1993 to the present. Although environmental conservation has been integrated into the decision-making process regarding social and economic development, the present social and political mechanism cannot ensure the solution to environmental problems. It is still a long way for China to achieve sustainable development.
