摘　　要：路易丝·厄德里克的文学创作从印第安人的原始宗教萨满教文化中汲取了丰沛的养分。她的长篇小说《爱药》是一个个萨满教文化意象连缀起来的印第安史诗。通过运用萨满巫术、念珠、神圣烟斗、蒲公英等萨满文化意象,厄德里克构建起印第安萨满文化在印第安社会中的失落、回归与传承的过程,并阐述了传统萨满文化在颠覆白人文化霸权、重构印第安民族身份方面所起的重要作用。Louise Erdrich has been nurtured by Shamanic culture in her writing career. In her novel Love Medicine, the Indian Shamanic culture undergoes a process from loss to revival and has the hope of passing on. Louise Erdrich employs such Shamanic images as witchcraft, beads, sacred pipe and dandelion to reconstruct the process and illustrates the significant role that Shamanic culture plays in subverting the white cultural hegemony and reforming the Indian identity.
