摘　　要：在学生中,觉得英语听力难以提高已是普遍现象。本文通过调查分析,分别从英语语音、听力材料、学习方法、听力教学四个方面探讨了英语听力水平难以提升的原因。Students commonly think English Listening is hard to be improved. According to the author＇s investigation and observation, this article tries to find out the reasons why English listening is so hard to students from four aspects： phonetics, listening material, learning methods and the teaching of listening.
