摘　　要：在借鉴前人成果的基础上,构建一个简约的城市竞争力评价指标体系,并应用因子分析法和改进熵值法对江苏省13个地级市的城市竞争力进行综合评价,运用Kendall协调系数W检验对两种方法的一致性进行检验。结果表明,因子分析法和改进熵值法相结合,对城市竞争力的综合评价更加客观、公正,值得推荐。Firstly, the paper summarizes a pithy index system of city competitiveness based on earlier research. Secondly, it introduces factor analysis and entropy methods to evaluate the city competitiveness of 13 cities in Jiangsu province. Final- ly, the paper applies Kendall coordination coefficient W test to inspect the consistency of the above two methods. The result suggests that the combination of the two methods can simplify calculation and make the results more scientific and objective. Thus, the combination of the two methods is worthy of recommendation.
