摘　　要：从关注现代农业的内涵、中国农民素质现状及存在的问题,以及发展现代农业与农民素质现状存在的矛盾入手,在此基础上明确现代农业发展对新型农民的要求,为推进中国新型农民的培养提出相应的对策与政策建议。Abstract The requirement of development of modern agriculture to farmers＇ quality is increasing. The connotation of modernagriculture, cur- rent situation and existing problem of Chinese farmer quality as well as the contradiction between them were discussed, the requirement of modem agriculture development to farmers＇ quality was elaborated, and corresponding countermeasures for cultivating Chinese new-type farmers were put forward.
