摘　　要：在我国,目前还没有统一的化粪池管理机构。由于设计、施工、运行和管理的不当,化粪池存在许多问题。烟台市全球环境基金(GEF)化粪池示范项目是为了解决我国在化粪池领域存在的问题,制定化粪池管理维护模式和确定适宜化粪池清空物的处置技术。该项目包括建立化粪池管理中心、对代表性化粪池进行监测、制定最佳清掏周期、清空物送至污水厂联合处理等。通过该项目的实施,可为提高化粪池的管理水平提供参考。Up to now, there is no special institution for managing urban septic tanks in China. There are a number of problems in septic tank for the unreasonable design, construction, running and management. Yantai-GEF project is a pilot project of septic tank management, which is built in Yantai and supported by Global Environment Facility （GEF）. Its primary objective is to set the mode of septic tank management and maintenance and develop septage treatment technologies. It includes establishing an administrative organization, monitoring the representative septic tanks, determining the best servicing period for tank cleaning, delivering septage to the WWTP and treating it together with wastewater. GEF septic tank pilot project will provide a reference in improving the level of management of septic tanks.
