摘 要:在AMS-14C测年的基础上,结合相关考古和历史资料以及前人研究成果,通过对苏北阜宁县停翅港遗址沉积剖面中35个样品粒度和磁化率的测试与分析,研究了该遗址地层不同时代的沉积相及其指示的环境变迁。结果表明,遗址剖面第5层及其以下的地层,磁化率值相对较低,细颗粒物质含量高,分选较差,偏度为近于对称至正偏,峰态处于中等变化,明显的单峰分布特征则表明样品沉积物的单成因性或一源性更为显著,结合地层岩性特征分析,它们应属湖泊或沼泽等静水沉积环境的产物;而遗址剖面第5层以上的自然淤积层为黄泛时期的冲积—洪积物,与下伏层样品相比,这些沉积物磁化率值大幅度增加,粗颗粒物质含量百分比明显提升,沉积物粒度分选较差,偏度多为极正偏或正偏,峰态为窄峰、很窄和中等峰态,这与南宋建炎二年(1128年)以来黄河进入以南流为主的时段相吻合,直到清咸丰五年(1855年),黄河才结束700多年的由淮入海历史,形成今天的黄河。黄河故道江苏段西起苏皖交界处的二坝附近,经淮安、涟水、阜宁、响水,直至滨海大淤尖入黄海,其两侧是广阔的黄泛平原,据此判断,目前在阜宁周边地区发现遗址数量较少可能与河水泛滥使遗址深埋地下不易被发现有关。Based on AMS-14C dating, this study focuses on an analysis of the granularity and magnetic susceptibility of 35 samples from the Tingchigang Site in Funing County, northern Jiangsu Province. Sedimentary facies of this site were analyzed to infer environmental changes through time. The results show that the fifth layer and underlying layers in the site have a lower magnetic susceptibilityvalue, a high content of fine particles, a nearly symmetrical or positive skewness, and a poor sorting. Grain sizes show a symmetrical uni-modal distribution. The single peak indicates that sediments were derived from a single source. It is inferred that the sediments were deposited in a quiet lacustrine or swamp environment. Sedi- ments overlying the fifth layer at the site were probably deposited during Yellow River flooding. Compared with underlying layers, these sediments have a higher magnetic susceptibility value, a high content of coarse particles, and similarly poor sorting. Their grain size distribution is characterized by a positive or very positive skewness, and a medium, narrow, and very narrow kurtosis, consistent with sediments associated with the southern flow period of the Yellow River in 1128 AD. It is not until the Qing Dynasty around 1855 AD when the Yellow River took the modern path. The palaeochannels of the Yellow River in Jiangsu section flowed through Huai'an, Lian'shui, Funing and Xiang'shui to the Yellow Sea. The palae ochannels are surrounded by flood plains formed during Yellow River floods. We suggest that the archaeological sites near the Funing area were buried during such Yellow River floods.
