Effect of Milling Time on Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Ni-Al Alloys Prepared by Self-Propagating Reaction Synthesis

摘  要:采用激光点火自蔓延烧结技术制备了Ni-26Al(摩尔分数)合金。对球磨时间分别为0、5和10h烧结合金进行了密度测试、微观组织观察、XRD分析以及硬度、耐磨性等力学性能测试。结果表明,烧结合金物相由γ-Ni、Ni3Al和Al2O3相构成。烧结合金性能随球磨时间的延长而提高,球磨10h后其密度达5.85g/mm3,洛氏硬度(HRC)为62,单位面积磨损量为4.43×10-4g/mm2。Ni-26Al alloys ( atomic fraction,%) was prepared by laser-induced self-propagating reaction synthesis. Effects of milling time, such as 0,5 and 10 h, on the density、microstructure、composition and mechanical properties of the Ni-26Al prepared were investigated by density measurement, SEM (scanning electron microscope), XRD (X-ray diffraction) and tensile testing. The results show that the sintered alloy is composed of Ni3Al and γ- Ni 、Al2O3 phases. The sintering performance of the alloy prepared is improved increasing with increasing in milling time, and after 10 h milling, the density, Rockwell hardness and wearing capacity are 5.85 g/mm3 , 62 HRC and 4.43×10-4 g/mm2, respectively.
