基于文本现象和文化语境的身体研究——以现代主义文学为例

摘　　要："身体"成为近30年来社会学科研究的基本对象,但在强调其社会文化建构的同时,身体的文本建构未得到应有的重视。为此,本文提出了基于文本身体这一核心概念的修辞—文化研究,认为文本身体就是呈现在文本语境之中的人类身体意象,并基于文本现象和文化语境对其归类分析。通过对现代主义叙事和非叙事文学作品的范例研究,发现这些作品中存在双性同体或酷儿身体、欲望身体、变形身体、死亡身体以及疾患或残损身体等文本身体类型。对文本身体做修辞—文化意义的考察,既可窥见身体背后丰富的文化政治信息,又可揭示身体的独特文本呈现形式。The body has become the focus of the humanities over the last thirty years.However,the body in literature as a textual construct is largely neglected in the current body studies.Thus we propose a type of rhetorical-cultural study centered on the textual body,which means the image of the human body in the text or context.And textual representation and cultural contexts are essential to the typological analysis of textual bodies.A careful examination of the body in modernist narrative and non-narrative works suggests that there are various types of textual bodies,such as the androgynous or queer body,the erotic body,the dysmorphic body,the dead body,and the sick or damaged body.The textual-cultural construct of these bodies not only reflects the richness of cultural political information,but also reveals the particular textual representation of the body.
