摘　　要：中国近代留学生作为中国近代社会一个特殊的群体,创建了具有中国特色的科学文化体系;中国近代留学生群体继续引领新中国科学文化事业的发展;改革开放造就的新一代海归留学生把中国现代科学文化事业提升到世界文化发展的平台;留学生群体对于中国当代科学文化的发展仍将发挥不可取代的作用;留学活动依然是中国未来科学文化建设的必由之路。Modern Chinese returned students as a special group of modern Chinese society created a system of sci- ence and culture with Chinese characteristics;Modern Chinese returned students continued to lead the development of the modern undertakings of science and culture in New China;A new generation of returned students created by the reform and opening - up enhance the modern Chinese undertakings of science and culture to the world＇ s cultur- al development platform;Returned students will continue to play an irreplaceable role in the development of science and culture in contemporary China;Study activities abroad is still the only way for the construction of science and culture in the future of China.
