摘　　要：东方拟齿小蠹Pseudips orientalis(Wood&Yin)是隆务河流域天然林区危害云杉Picea spp.林的优势虫种之一,在青海省黄南州麦秀林区和同仁县西卜沙林区危害比较严重,致使天然云杉林成片死亡,造成严重的生态和经济损失。2007年至2010年对东方拟齿小蠹生物学特性进行了观察研究。结果表明,东方拟齿小蠹在当地1 a发生1代,以成虫在林内枯枝落叶层下越冬。每年的5月中下旬和7月底至8月初出现2次成虫扬飞高峰期。第1高峰期为越冬代成虫,第2高峰期为子代新成虫。成虫体长3.5～4.4 mm。圆柱形,深红褐色至黑褐色。翅盘陡立,两侧各有3个齿。母坑道从交配室向左右曲折延伸(形如八卦图案),每个卵室有3～5个卵。Pseudips orientalis（Wood Yin） was one of the most destructive beetles in the natural spruce forests in Longwu River Valley,which caused the death of many trees in both plantations and natural stands of Picea crassifolia in Maixiu and Xibusha Forest regions.The bionomics of the beetle was investigated during 2007-2010.The results showed that P.orientalis had one generation a year in Qinghai Province and overwintered as adults under the forest litter.There were two adult flight peaks,ie the major spring dispersal flight of the overwintering adults in mid-late May and the minor maturation-feeding dispersal flight of the new adults in late July-early August.Egg galleries were arcuate and there were 3-5 eggs per egg niche.
