摘　　要：鲁迅与库切小说的批判精神有着惊人的相似之处。尽管鲁迅解剖的是国民的劣根性，库切揭露的是殖民主义和种族主义在南非的罪恶，但二者在本质上则是一致的。两位作家均暴露了文明的虚伪，展示了人性中的嗜血、奴性、瞒和骗。从而体现出作家深刻的思想、敏锐的洞察力和冷峻的民族自省精神，以及直面现实的勇气和对人类的大爱。There are surprisingly similar parts of critical spirit in novels by Lu Xun and Coetzee. Though Lu Xun reveals the national scoundrelism, whereas Coetzee exposes the evil deeds committed by colonists and racialists in South Africa, their critical spirit is the same in nature. They both expose the hypocrisy of civilization and demonstrate the bloodthirsty nature, servility, and deceptiveness, of human beings. Hence, the writers＇ deep thoughts, acute insights, calm attitudes to national self-awakening, courage to face reality and extensive love for human beings are demonstrated by their critical spirit.
