英国19世纪小说中“慈善”一词的语义转换研究

摘　　要：工业革命使"转型"成为19世纪英国的最突出特征,各种思想、概念内涵发生着急剧变换。作为该时期社会论争焦点的"慈善"也不例外。小说作为比其他任何有关人类经验的记载都更深刻、更早捕捉到问题意识的"史书",也捕捉到了这一问题。通过建构心理空间、隐喻等手段,该时期小说生动阐释了社会慈善语义内涵的转换过程、实质。Industrial Revolution made CHANGE as the most distinguished feature of 19th Century England.Accordingly,the connotations of various thoughts and concepts transferred,and charity as one of the key issues of the time transferred as well.Novel,as the deeper and easier method to catch social issues compared with any other ways,catches this issue as well.Through constructing various metaphors,mental spaces and other techniques,the novels vividly interpret the semantic changes of charity and its categories.
