摘　　要：编辑学是关于编辑活动的学问。编辑活动是策划、审理作品使之适合流传的再创造活动。编辑活动的对象是作品,编辑活动的目的是使作品适合流传,编辑活动的内容是策划和审理作品,编辑活动的性质是对作品的再创造。编辑活动的基本矛盾是编辑主体与编辑客体的矛盾。编辑活动的基本规律是编辑主体与编辑客体的对立统一规律。对于编辑活动过程及其规律的揭示和阐释,是编辑学的基本任务和基本内容。The editorial science is a study of editing activity.Editing is a re-creative activity concerning planning and examining some works so that they are made suitable for being spread.The object of editing is written work and its aim is spreading.The contents of editing are planning and examining and the nature is re-creativeness.The basic contradiction of editorial activities is the contradiction between subject and object.The basic principle is the law of the unity of opposites.Revelation and interpretation of the editing process and principle is the basic task and content of editorial science.
