摘　　要：清洁生产和可持续发展概念高度一致,两者相辅相成促进社会协调健康发展。钢铁工业对资源和能源消耗量大,社会可持续发展要求钢铁工业实施清洁生产。钢铁工业实施清洁生产要从节约资源和能源、改进工艺和设备、加强管理、必要的末端治理等方面进行。清洁生产是钢铁工业可持续发展的必然选择。The concept of cleaner production and sustainable development is highly consistent and they complement each other to promote social coordinate and healthy development. Iron and steel industry consumes resources and energy in large quantities and the social sustainable development requires industry- wide implementation of cleaner production in the iron and steel industry. The implementation of cleaner production in iron and steel industry should be focused on saving resources and energy, improving technology and equipment,strengthening the management, necessary end control, and so on. Cleaner production is an inevitable choice for sustainable development of iron and steel industry.
