摘　　要：严格的学位授权审核对提高人才培养水平、保证学位授予质量具有十分重要的作用。笔者选择清华大学和加州大学伯克利分校作为案例,对中美新增学位点授权审核机制进行了比较,从美国大学新学位项目设立审核程序中得到了一些启示,希望能为国内学位授权审核制度改革及高校做好自审增列学位授权点工作提供参考。Strict authorization of graduate degree programs is of great significance to enhancing higher education quality and ensuring degree awarding quality. In this work, we compare the authorization mechanism of newly added graduate degree programs in China and the United States, based on a case study of Tsinghua University and University of California, Berkeley. procedure of newly added graduate degree programs references for similar work in China.
