摘　　要：近年来,Internet研究人员及其运营商都致力于研究和开发具有服务质量保障能力的新型网络技术,以满足越来越多的高质量服务的需求。这些新技术中具有代表性的是综合服务体系模型(IntServ)和资源预留协议(RSVP)。随着进一步的研究和实验,人们开始意识到实现IntServ和RSVP需要增加复杂的信令系统,收集和处理每个业务流的信息。Applications with diverse quality requirement have grown rapidly in recent years, which can not be supported by the single best-effort level of service of traditional Internet. Network researchers and managers are actively looking for better ways to service their customers. In this article, we discuss some recent efforts in Differentiated Services Architecture proposed by IETF. The actual mechanisms adopted classification and Per Hop Behavior(PHB) in diffserv domain, which can be implemented by the equipment available, to support different level quality of services.
