摘 要:地埂桑是山区发展桑树的重要途径之一。传统的地埂桑叶质差,产量低。采用固N植物篱梯埂套种桑树栽培方式改造传统的地埂桑效益显著。研究结果表明,嫁接桑单株产叶量为对照的3.9倍,比对照高1068.8g;平均单叶鲜质量为对照的4.5倍,比对照高8g;平均单叶面积为对照的1.7倍,比对照高119.5cm^2。实生桑单株产叶量为对照的4倍,比对照高255g;平均单叶鲜质量为对照的4.1倍,比对照高1.4g;平均单叶面积为对照的1.6倍,比对照高46.4cm^2。Plantation of mulberry trees on marginal lands including bench terrace risers has played an important role in the development of sericulture in the mountainous areas of Sichuan Province. However, owing to various reasons, mulberry leaves of such plantation are low in quality and yield. Recently planting of contour hedgerows of nitrogen fixing plants has been promoted as a main measure for soil conservation and soil fertility improvement of the sloping agricultural lands. In order to maximise multiple benefits of the contour hebgerows,an experiment of planting mul-berry trees between the double hedgerows has been carried out in Ningnan county, Southwest Sichuan Province. The preliminary results showed that the average leaf area,weight of individual leaf,and leaf yield per plant of the grafted mulberry trees in the contour hedgerows were 1.7,4.5 and 3.9 times of those planted on the terrace risers,respectively. The average leaf area,weight of individual leaf, and leaf yield per plant of the non-grafted mulberry trees in the contour hedgerows were 1.6, 4.1 and 4.0 times of those planted on the terrace risers,respectively. The preliminary results indicated that inclusion of mulberry trees within the contour hedgerows might be an addi-tional source of income generation to farmers.
