试析少数民族地区高校图书馆的社会职能

摘　　要：少数民族地区的高校图书馆既有作为普通高校图书馆共有的社会职能,亦有着为少数民族地区文化、教育、科技文献信息服务的特殊社会职能;如何积极发挥少数民族地区高校图书馆的特殊优势、切实拓展其应有的社会职能,是少数民族地区高校图书馆必须面对的现实问题。Libraries in institutions of higher learning in ethnic area not only fulfill the social functions shared by all libraries of ordinary university, but also fulfill some special social functions, ie. serving for culture, education, scientific and technological information. How to positively develop special functions of libraries in institutions of higher learning in ethnic area, actually extend its social functions is actual problem faced by libraries in institutions of higher learning in ethnlc area.
