摘　　要：生物标本馆是高校生物学、农学、医学等学科师生开展实验教学和科学研究,进行爱国主义、科普教育的基地.本文介绍了地方高校建设标本馆的必要性和意义,并对馆室建设规划及馆藏标本管理维护的方法与经验进行了探讨,为其未来发展方向提供了思路.Biological specimen museums are bases of the teaching and conduction of experiments and scientific , researches for teachers and students in such disciplines as biology, agronomy and medicine. They can also serve as vital bases for the implementation of both patriotic education and education of science popularization. In this paper, the necessity and significance of specimen museum construction in local universities and colleges are introduced, and the construction schemes for such museums, the methods and experience for the management and maintenance of coUected specimens are discussed so as to provide new thoughts for the future development of these specimen museums.
